In its Inaugural year, the Collegiate Life Investment Foundation, in partnership with David Mack Entertainment, presents the "Step Up for Safety" Black-tie Sneaker Gala honoring victims, survivors, and individuals throughout the state of Tennessee who have made a significant impact on road safety and distracted driving reform.

This black tie gala, with a unique sneaker twist, will feature amazing food, an exclusive silent auction, live music, and more.

And remember... sneakers required.

THE 5K/WALK WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 A.M.

The Mid-South Distracted Driving 5K originated in 2013 by the Collegiate Life Investment Foundation. It was developed to bring awareness in the Mid-South community of the dangers of Distracted Driving and to raise money for medical expenses of victims of fatal car crashes and allocate funds to implement teen traffic safety in local high schools. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit individuals directly affected by Distracted Driving crashes and traffic safety education in Tennessee.
